Pinnacle Studio 26 released

Pinnacle have released version 26 of Studio which has come a long way since the original version with two video tracks and simple editing. These days it includes multiple timelines, scopes with advanced colour correction, and very advanced tools like an automatic mask tracker.

You can also still do simple things like make DVDs with the software. The official price of the top version is £114.99, although I full expect to get emails arriving saying it is about £80 on special offer – which seems to happen every other week.

I have often thought it is a good alternative to a professional program for people who don’t do too much editing but have not used it in anger much for ages myself because I am so used to using EDIUS & Resolve. Still good to know it carries on and evolves the the guts of Avid Liquid still live on somewhere!
