EDIUS 3D PREVIEW
01 – SETTING UP 3D CLIPS
In the first of our videos looking at EDIUS 3D preview we look at setting up a 3D project and how to make your 3D clips. The last day on which you could download EDIUS 3D preview is actually the same day we are posting these videos so you might say why did we not post them earlier. We have actually just been really busy (not something we complain about in todays economic climate). So in addition to showing you what EDIUS 3D did, it also gives a good taster of what will be included in EDIUS 6.5 when it is released – scheduled for June 2012.
02 – VIEWING THE EDIT
This section is not so much about how you can view the edit on your computer screen but what can you do with hardware like the Grass Valley STORM MOBILE./P>
03 – ADJUSTING 3D FOOTAGE
This section deals with how you can adjust your footage when editing using the excellent tools built into EDIUS 3D.
04 – WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE EDIT?
Once your edit is completed what do you do with it. This video shows the options we had available at the time with the preview version. They may change by the time the final 6.5 arrives.
05 – WHAT ELSE IS IN EDIUS 3D?
So the major change is STEREOSCOPIC editing which EDIUS does really well but what;s in the new version for non-3d editors? The first changes are in the layout tool, and include better quality downscaling.
06 – FLASH EXPORT & THE LOUDNESS METER
Some of the new non-stereoscopic features that should find their way into EDIUS 6.5: export to HD Flash files and a new way of measuring sound levels.
07 INSTALLING AND USING EDIUS 3D PREVIEW
This section to be honest is a little bit late. It was filmed in early March but be had a busy month and now we have posted it on the 31st – the last day you could actually download the trial version!
