EDIUS Bat Server

EDIUS BAT server was released towards the end of 2024 and is a way to add lots of new abilities to EDIUS 11.  I have been making a series of videos about BAT server and making your own BAT files.

EDIUS Bat Server: Part 1 – Install and basics

Bat server is a new option for EDIUS 11 that lets you add extra commands to EDIUS’ menus and even write your own “batch files” for yor own commands. It is currently in beta and available for free to anyone who owns EDIUS 11. In this video I look at installing BAT server and the basic functionality.

EDIUS Batserver part 2: other functions included

In the second look at the Batsever I look at some of the other functions built-in to the first release:

EDIUS Bat Server Part 3 – Better Deinterlacing And Editing Batch Files

https://youtu.be/Tkb8YNzI8Ck?si=q4HpRbH9aB-UIyAY

In this video I look at a new addition to BAT server – the ability to use QTGMC to deinterlace files. Plus I look at some extra commands you can add to your BAT files to add handles to cut clips and choose where they clips go.

To add a target path add: :: target_path=insert path here
To add handles add: :: extend_inout=1.5 – where the number represents the number of seconds to add on each end of the clip.

More details are in the video.
