Gaijin-Eyes – training in Avid, Boris Red, TMPEG Authoring Works & EDIUS

Gaijin Eyes is designed to give tutorials for “mere mortals”, and is run by Douglas, a Scottish editor living in Japan.  Douglas originally made over 200 free tutorials for users migrating from Avid Liquid to Avid Media Composer, with a view to helping new Liquid migrants to feel at home with their new editing program.  Most tutorials at the time assumed you has an in depth knowledge of using Media Composer and so did not help new users coming from a different program. He then developed a range of tutorials on using Boris Red (called Avid FX in Media Composer) and went on to develop more tutorials in TMPEG Authoring Works and Grass Valley EDIUS.

Douglas has a straight forward, plain speaking style to his tutorials which anyone can follow.

SGDV Training
