Useful free compressor to use with EDIUS

EDIUS does not have a large range of audio filters but you can add in VST files and use these inside EDIUS. There are a large variety of plug-ins both paid and free. The Yohng limiter is a nice free plug-in I have used with EDIUS to “even out” the sound in clips. All you need to do is download the filter and copy the “George Yohng’s W1 Limiter x64.dll” file and readme.txt into this folder : C:\Program Files\Grass Valley\EDIUS 9\PlugIn\VST

Do this with EDIUS turned off. Now start EDIUS and you should have an extra folder under audio plug-ins with this filter inside it.
