Avid posts the timeline of the Last Jedi

Avid have just posted a picture of the timeline for the Last Jedi on their Blog which you may find interesting. They split the film into Reels, so each timeline is one reel of the film.

New features coming soon to Avid

At about 27 minutes in there is a short section on new features coming sometime in Avid’s future which include the “live timeline”, where Avid does not stop playing any time you breath on the keyboard and a new title tool.

If you use another program, like EDIUS or Premiere you may say “my program does that already”, which may be true but it does mean that in the future Avid will do all the things it has always done plus things your program does now.
