Editing in Resolve 18 tutorial
I have just uploaded the first part of my editing in Resolve tutorial. There are 20 chapters spread over 6 videos which concentrate soley on the editing side of Resolve. I will cover the basics of setting up Resolve, how projects work, adding and trimming clips, adding transitions and titles and finally exporting as an MP4 file. This tutorial was done entirely in the free version of Resolve; the final part will be a list of the main differences between the free version and the Studio version of Resolve.
This series is intended for people who are either coming to Resolve from another program or editing in the program for the first time. All the chapters will be available to view on my YouTube channel and will be released over the next few weeks. Alternatively you can download the full tutorial immediately from my website for just £20. You can order the full tutorial here: http://www.dvctraining.co.uk/product/editing-in-resolve-18/
The content on YouTube and the download version is the same; I am offering it as a download for those who want to have the tutorial available for them on their local computer all the time, and anyone who would like to support me a little for the effort involved in making the tutorial.
In the first part of the tutorial I look at starting Resolve, and explain some basic settings as well as various things about projects and the way Resolve projects differ from other programs. You can see the video on my YouTube channel : https://youtu.be/ZD3XjKke088
